Safe Road Driving Academy opened its doors in August of 2019 to fill a need for competent and reliable driving schools in the Northern Virginia area. Fast becoming Virginia's #1 Driving School, our mission is to provide teens and adults alike with a driver's education program that is second to none. Holding safety as our top priority, we build students' skills and confidence behind-the-wheel.
We provide individual private driving lessons and the state required behind-the-wheel course for new drivers. With a "crash avoidance" system, we emphasize defensive driving skills and patience behind the wheel. Our litmus test - "Will my kids be safe on the road with this person driving?" If we aren't sure, we'll work with them until we are. We do not cut corners!
Whether we're teaching brand new drivers trying to earn their license, a seasoned veteran needing a refresher, or anyone in between, we tailor each lesson to the student's unique needs. Our staff of driving instructors, "coaches", are veteran educators and law enforcement officers, each bringing years of experience to our team, and specifically trained to provide the best learning experience for every student. All instructors undergo a rigorous background check, including annual FBI criminal checks and driving safety reviews, so you can rest assured you are in the best of hands.
